Monday March 18th Welcome! As you have seen from the letter that came home today, we are not starting any new ELA skills this week. Mrs. Emard and I do our best to differentiate our instruction with students and one way we find out how to appropriately challenge your child is through assessments. Seeing that this week is report card week, we are assessing quite a few skills. This morning, children rotated through centers. They were listening to a story, fixing work with a teacher, and working with contraction games on computers. After centers finished, they went to recess outside. When we came back from lunch, We had 5-minute fidget, calendar, and then math centers. Students played Last Shape Wins at teacher table with plane shapes, Solid Figure Slides and Ladders at the rug practicing 3D shapes, prodigy or Waterford math on computers, and worked on fact fluency with fact triangles at red table. Thank you Mrs. Harper for joining us during centers today and running our solid figure game! Last period today was library.
Upcoming Reminders: Thursday is Autism Awareness Day and the Talent Show Rehearsal Friday is Wear Green Day and report cards come home Saturday is the Talent Show!
